Alex Bowman will start from the pole position in Sundays Daytona 500.
It’s his fourth consecutive front-row start in The Great American Race.
His teammate, William Byron, will officially be credited with second-place starting position when the green flag drops Sunday, he may need to drop to the back of the pack if his team uses a backup car after a Thursday night wreck.
Denny Hamlin is the two-time defending champion will try to become the 1st ever to win the Daytona 500 in 3 straight years.
Hamlin will start from the 25th spot.
Clint Bowyer will be in the broadcast booth for FOX Sports after he retired from racing after last season.
