Tickets go on sale next month for the Symphony in the Flint Hills.
The official sale date is March 6, with the concert set for June 12 in the Morris County North Lakeview Pasture outside Council Grove. Tickets are $95 plus taxes and fees for adults and $50 plus taxes and fees for children up to age 12. VIP experience packages are also available.
The event’s return is being planned after two straight years of cancellations — COVID-19 last year, severe weather in 2019 — and is also being scheduled to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the historic Santa Fe Trail. In addition to the concert, there will be a range of historic presentations and activities marking the history of the trail.
The Kansas City Symphony will once again perform for the main event. At this time, no special guest has been announced.
