Osage County is now the second area county to pass 1,000 coronavirus cases since the pandemic came to Kansas nearly a year ago.
Twenty-six new cases between Feb. 5 and Wednesday pushed the county’s overall total to 1,014 since March. Osage County also had its active caseload dip from 48 to 28 over that time and deaths remain steady at 11.
Lyon County, which has the area’s biggest population, now has over 4,000 total cases.
