The Emporia High girls wrestling team will be sending 6 wrestlers to State. The Lady Spartans had two-second place finishes, 1 third-place finish, and 3 fourth-place finishes at sub-state.
Madelynn Griffin at 126 pounds and Hannah Boa at 143 pounds finished in 2nd place. Virginia Munoz at 138 pounds finished in 3rd place.
Evelin Geronimo at 101 pounds, Trinity Ervin at 191 pounds and Megan Olson at 235 pounds finished in 4th place.
As a team Emporia High finished in 2nd place.
The Girls Division I State Wrestling tournament will be held Thursday at Hartman Arena in Park City.
