The first Legislative Dialogue of the year is coming this weekend.
The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters are once again joining forces for this year’s series of discussions, with the first Dialogue coming Saturday to the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial. Senator Jeff Longbine and Representatives Mark Schreiber, Ron Highland and Eric Smith have been invited to attend.
Coffee ad pastries will be available at 8 am with the discussion starting at 8:30 am. Seating is limited and people can watch through the Chamber’s Facebook page if they want.
