The Emporia High boys basketball team ended a 5 game losing skid with a 51-36 win over Topeka Hayden Tuesday night.
The Spartans used a 15-0 run in the first half to build a lead they would not give up. Coach Beau Welch was pleased with the effort.
Charles Snyder led the offense with 15 points.
The Spartans close out the regular season Friday when they host Topeka Seaman.
