An investigation is underway after fire damaged an Emporia home Wednesday morning.
Emporia and Olpe firefighters were called to 1611 Sherwood Way shortly before 10 am. Fire Capt. Greg Davis says there was moderate smoke coming from the eaves when they arrived. There was also extensive fire damage to the kitchen and living room, with smoke damage through the house.
A cause and origination point are under investigation. No injuries were reported. The house is owned by Roy and Lori Mann.
