Following a string of road views during their study session Wednesday, Lyon County commissioners have an action meeting Thursday morning.
Commissioners will consider a conditional use permit for Eagle Creek Stone’s request for a rock quarry in the 600 block of Road Y and the 700 block of Road Y-5. On zoning matters, they will also consider a text change for the city-county joint comprehensive plan.
Off that topic, County Appraiser Ryan Janzen will present the county’s 2021 valuation trends and will discuss the mailing of Change of Value notices.
The now-weekly health update from Lyon County Public Health Director Dr. Ladun Oyenuga and Incident Commander Renee Hively is also planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse and will be live-streamed on the county’s Facebook page.
