Emporia States softball team opens their season Friday. They will be playing in a tournament hosted by Washburn in Topeka.
The Lady Hornets will play Wayne State and Rockhurst.
Senior infielder Rachel Kauss can’t wait to get the season started.
The Lady Hornets will also play Missouri St. Louis and Mary University Saturday. Sunday they play McKendree and Minnesota Crookston.
