The Emporia State softball team picked up 2 more wins Sunday in the Washburn Invitational.
They outscored McKendree 9-6.
Cassidy Beem was 3 for 3 with a home run and drove in 2 runs. Abbey Ward and Kelsey Phillips also drove in 2 runs each.
They also defeated Minnesota Crookston 18-6. Abby Ward was 2 for 2 with a home run and drove in 3 runs including 2 with a triple.
Roni Rains was also 2 for 2 with 4 RBI.
The Lady Hornets are 5-1 to start the season.
They are scheduled to host the ESU Classic beginning Friday.
