A mediation hearing is next for one of three suspects in a case involving an alleged shooting and home invasion robbery last fall.
Lance Sutton pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary as part of an arraignment hearing Monday in Lyon County District Court. He has his next hearing March 19.
Sutton and Kenneth Hopkins were arrested over the past several months after a man survived being shot at Linn and Whildin and what authorities say was a connected robbery at 9 South Rural. Both alleged incidents took place in late October, according to investigators.
Hopkins is charged with aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and an alternate count of criminal trespass in the case. He tentatively has a mediation hearing March 12 and a motions hearing March 17.
A third suspect, 24-year-old Marcos Diaz, remains at large.
