The Season came to an end for the Emporia High girls basketball team Friday night. They were outscored by Topeka Seaman 37-27 in a Sub-State Championship game.
Emporia High Coach Carolyn Dorsey called it a heartbreaking night.
The Lady Spartans struggled offensively shooting only 24 percent from the floor.
Gracie Gilpin scored a team-high 8 points. Rebecca Snyder finished with 7 points.
The Lady Spartans finished their season with a 15-7 record.
