Local authorities have captured an Emporia man on the Lyon County Most Wanted list for two months.
Emporia Police Sgt. Lisa Hayes tells KVOE News 20-year-old Alexander Couch was recently arrested by the Special Response Team at a residence in north-central Emporia.
Authorities had been searching for Couch on an aggravated kidnapping warrant. Couch had been on the Most Wanted list since early January. Hayes says he had absconded several months ago.
The Kansas Highway Patrol K-9 unit helped with the case.
