Traffic on US Highway 50 west of Emporia is back to normal after a traffic issue shortly before lunch.
Lyon County Undersheriff John Koelsch says a semi driver tried to turn around at the Road A intersection. Instead, he went off the highway and got stuck in the mud.
Initially, eastbound traffic only was blocked. However, Koelsch says traffic was blocked in both directions for a time.
No injuries were reported.
