Central Oklahoma scored 2 runs in the top of the 9th and defeated the Emporia State baseball team 2-1 in the 3rd and final game of the series Friday.
The Hornets scored their run in the bottom of the 1st.
Central Oklahoma won the series 2 games to 1.
Emporia State is now 6-8 for the season. They are scheduled to host Central Missouri next weekend.
