Kansas and Wichita State have been selected to be a part of the NCAA mens basketball tournament.
The Kansas Jayhawks are making their 31st consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, they are the 3 seed in the West region and will play Eastern Washington in their first game on Saturday with tip-off at 12:15p.
Kansas Coach Bill Self says they will be able to play minus the one positive COVID player in the NCAA tournament.
Wichita State will play Drake Thursday with tip-off at 5:27 in one of the first 4 games.
Wichita State Coach Isaac Brown is happy to be invited to the Big Dance.
The winner of the Wichita State vs Drake game will play USC in the 1st round of the West Regional.
Kansas and Wichita State could meet in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.
Gonzaga is the number 1 seed in the West. Baylor is the number 1 seed in the South. Michigan is the number 1 seed in the East and Illinois is the number 1 seed in the Midwest.
Besides Kansas and Baylor 5 other Big-12 teams were selected, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Texas, and West Virginia.
