Active and overall COVID-19 cases rose simultaneously again Friday according to Lyon County Public Health’s latest data set.
Public health reported 16 new cases Friday bringing the overall COVID caseload to 4,147 since last March. With eight new recoveries reported Friday the active case total increased to 41.
Deaths remained at 83 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations remained at five.
