The Emporia State baseball team was run-ruled by Central Missouri 15-1 in the first game of a 3 game series Friday.
Central scored 6 runs in the 2nd and 4 runs in the 3rd inning to take a lead they would not give up.
The Lone Emporia States run came in the 4th inning when Quin Cherry scored on a Javier Pena double.
Emporia State Coach Seth Wheeler said they did not play at the level they needed to play.
Emporia State and Central Missouri play a doubleheader Saturday with the first game beginning at 12pm. The 2nd game is set to begin at 3 pm. The second game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
