The Emporia High girls soccer team opened their season with a 3-2 loss to Wichita North Friday.
Emporia High scored first on a goal by Hannah Boa.
Wichita North tied the match before Halftime.
Hannah Boa scored her 2nd goal of the night in the 2nd half to give the Lady Spartans a 2-1 lead.
Wichita North would score two more goals to steal the win.
Emporia High Coach Oscar Macias said it was a step in the right direction.
The Lady Spartans are off until they open play in the Titan Classic on March 29th.
