The Osage County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Topeka man as part of an investigation into online solicitation of a child by an adult.
Sheriff Chris Wells says 36-year-old Chad Ropar was arrested Thursday for allegedly making plans to meet with someone he believed was a 15-year-old child. Additional case details have not been released.
Ropar was booked into the Osage County Jail on suspicion of electronic solicitation of a child and indecent solicitation of a child. Formal charges are pending.
