Central Missouri swept the Emporia State baseball team in a doubleheader Saturday and swept the 3 game series.
Central won the first game 7-4. The Mules scored 3 runs in the 7th inning to break a 3-3 tie. Cooper Minnick hit a solo home run in the 9th but it was not enough to get the win.
Central Missouri won the 2nd game 15-5. The Mules pounded 5 home runs driving in 11 runs.
Brady Michel hit a solo home run and Javier Pena hit a 2 run home run for Emporia State.
Emporia State Coach Seth Wheeler said they need to get better.
The Emporia State baseball team hosts Rogers State next Friday and Saturday.
