The Emporia High girls track team finished 2nd and the boys finished 3rd at the Mid Winter Relays hosted by Topeka West Thursday.
Emporia High had 5 first place finishes.
Trinity Ervin won both the shot put and discuss.
Kalia Kesybounheaung won the pole vault.
For the boys Fred Jackson had the fastest time in the 400 meter run.
Josiah Huber won the pole vault.
Emporia High also had 4 second place finishes.
Hannah Boa in the 400, Elizabeth Willhite in the 1600, Aidan Jackson in the 300 hurdles.
The girls 4 x 100 relay team of Kaitlyn Ayer, Zayda Pearson, Hattie Cooper and Teegan Baker.
The boys 4 by 400 relay team of Fred Jackson, Aidan Jackson, Tysen Haynes and Blake Spellman.
Emporia also had 9 third place finishes.
Zachary Jackson in the 200, Kaitlyn Ayer in the long jump, Taryn West in the triple jump, Allisa Telfer in the high jump and Rylee Peak in the javelin.
The boys 4 by 100 relay of Derrick Keys, Kaden Woydziak, Aiden Jackson, and Zachary Jackson.
The boys 4 by 800 relay of Lane Wullschlager, Rudy Bedolla, Michael Shi and Caelan Ulrich.
The girls 4 by 400 relay of Hattie Cooper, Lauren Williams, Ny’Kel Thomas and Hannah Boa.
The girls 4 by 800 relay of Taryn West, Micah Sheffy-Harris, Elizabeth Willhite and Maryn True.
