An 18-year-old man was recently arrested after an alleged stabbing incident in Osage City.
Police Chief Fred Nech says Osage City Police and Osage County deputies responded to a call in the 400 block of North Fourth around 5 pm Thursday, finding a currently unspecified 19-year-old man with several knife stab wounds. That person was taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers later arrested Ray Francis Vantassel, hometown not listed, on suspicion of aggravated battery. Formal charges have not been announced.
