The availability of COVID-19 vaccines is expanding yet again — at least, short-term.
Haag Pharmacy has announced it will have 100 doses of Moderna vaccines available this week and 100 of the Johnson & Johnson variety next week. Owner Amber Haag says these clinics, coupled with ones coming Friday through the Flint Hills Community Health Center and Newman Regional Health, should offer peace of mind to county residents.
This week’s clinics at Haag will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Next week’s clinics will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Both will be during business hours of 9 am to 6 pm. People can schedule at www.haagpharmacy.com or call 342-1242 if they do not have online access.
Flint Hills Community Health Center will have a combination primary and revaccination clinic Friday at the Fairgrounds Anderson Building. Newman Regional Health will have a separate clinic Friday at the hospital’s conference center.
Haag says the Moderna doses are coming through the state’s allocation, while the Johnson & Johnson doses are part of a federal partnership. Future dose amounts have not been announced.
