Lyon County residents with last names beginning with the letter “B” have until Wednesday to renew their vehicle tags without penalty.
Residents needing to renew those tags must have current proof of insurance and valid ID to complete the process.
Treasurer Sharon Gaede is encouraging residents to get in line virtually by using the QLess system. People can text “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, use the QLess app or visit www.lyoncounty.org.
Motor Vehicle hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
