The Emporia State volleyball team was swept by Washburn in 3 sets Wednesday night, 25-16, 25-19, and 25-19.
Emporia State Coach Bing Xu said it was a better effort.
The Lady Hornets are off until next Friday when they play at Missouri Southern.
