The Emporia High girls soccer team was defeated by Wichita Northwest in the semi-finals of the Titan Classic on penalty kicks Thursday.
The two teams were tied at 1 at the end of regulation. Hannah Boa gave the Spartans a 1-0 lead in the first half.
The match went to pks with Northwest winning 3-1.
The Lady Spartans will play for 3rd place Saturday.
