A 2nd place finish and a 13th place finish for the Emporia High boys tennis team Thursday at the Emporia Invitational.
The doubles team of Taylor Moorman and Brendon Kienholz finished in 2nd place. They lost to a duo from Blue Valley West, which finished in 3rd place at state in 2019, in the championship match.
The doubles team of Dylan Davis and Brock Guion finished in 13th place.
Emporia High will be hosting a tournament Saturday.
