The Lyon County Fairgrounds parking lot will be full Sunday for a local Easter tradition.
The annual Messiah Lutheran Church Drive-In service will be taking place at 8:30 am and all are welcome to attend. The roughly 30-minute service will include hymns, prayer and a message from Messiah Lutheran Pastor Eddie Hosch.
Residents will also have the opportunity to give an offering during the service. Pastor Hosch says the collections have already been earmarked to support an agency in the local community.
Last year’s service saw more than 160 vehicles parked outside the Fairgrounds Anderson Building for the service. As in years past the service can be heard on KVOE 1400 am, 96.9 fm and KVOE.com.
