The Kansas City Royals rallied for an 11-4 win over the Texas Rangers Saturday.
Texas built a 4-0 lead after 3 innings. The Royals rallied with 3 runs in the 5th, then exploded for 7 runs in the 6th, and added a run in the 8th.
Michael Taylor got the offense started with a solo home run in the 5th. He would also drive in 2 runs with a double in the 6th.
Whit Merrifield drove in 4 runs, two with a single in the 6th, and hit a home run in the 8th.
Mike Minor was the winning pitcher going 6 innings giving up 4 runs on 4 hits with 6 strikeouts.
