Two North Lyon County residents were hurt as part of a motorcycle wreck near Topeka on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Ricky Bratcher of Allen was northbound when the rear tire blew out around 5:15 pm. Bratcher laid down his motorcycle as a result.
Bratcher suffered apparently minor injuries, but his passenger, 45-year-old Therese Bratcher, suffered suspected serious injuries. Both were taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka for treatment.
