The Kansas City Royals were shut out by the Chicago White Sox 6-0 Thursday.
After setting out an over 2-hour rain delay the Royals managed only 5 hits off of White Sox pitcher Lance Lynn who tossed a complete-game shutout with 11 strikeouts.
The Royals and White Sox are off today. They resume their 3 game series Saturday afternoon.
