Have you not received your COVID-19 vaccination yet? Lyon County Public Health wants to know.
Public Health launched a new poll on its Facebook page Monday asking residents who have yet to receive a COVID-19 vaccination why they have yet to do so. According to Justin Ogelby of Public Health, the survey is aimed at reaching populations who feel underrepresented, have no access to vaccines or are simply hesitant to receive a vaccination.
He says Public Health wants to work with these individuals to find a potential solution to any roadblocks they may be facing at this time.
The poll comes as Public Health has noticed a significant decline in vaccination appointments in recent weeks. KVOE has reported that the decrease in vaccinations could have a severe impact on the size of future vaccine allocations from the state and federal level if the decline continues at its current pace.
