Budgetary matters and ongoing planning will be the main focal points for the USD 252 Southern Lyon County Board of Education’s meeting Monday night.
The board will discuss its Local Option Budget percentage in light of potential budget cuts to K-12 education at the state level. The LOB is a supplementary revenue stream that can be set as high as 33 percent of the state general fund coming into a district if voters approve.
In addition, the board will get updates on the ongoing COVID-19 response and strategic planning. Board members will also discuss requests about the use of district facilities.
