If you don’t have plans for breakfast on Saturday morning then make plans to head to the Lyon County Fairgrounds.
The 73rd annual Emporia Kiwanis Club Pancake breakfast will be taking place at the Clover Leaf Diner. The menu will include pancakes, bacon sausage from Fanestil Meats, juice and coffee. In addition to the menu, a special raffle benefiting Lyon County 4H will be taking place as well.
Club members Scott Capes and Joan Kloppenberg had the details on some of the prizes up for grabs.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the breakfast and cost $1 apiece or $6 for five. Tickets for the breakfast can be purchased from any Kiwanis Club member or at the breakfast itself.
Tickets are $5 in advance and the day of. The breakfast will run from 7 am to 1 pm. Diners are asked to enter the Fairgrounds through the north entrance off 12th ave to pick up their food.
