Last year’s sequel to the No-Coast Film Festival was such a hit it has now become a trilogy.
Organizers announced the dates for the third installment of what has quickly become one of the most popular events on the community calendar in its short existence. This year’s festival is scheduled to take place in mid-September and will be a mixture of the first two events.
This year’s festival will once again have a virtual component like last year’s event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However; organizer Jon Leach was very happy to announce that the festival will also be welcoming viewers back to the Granada Theatre this year, with some COVID-related guidelines.
Leach says they are excited at the prospect of having attendees back in person as he feels the true experience of the festival is the atmosphere of being inside the theatre.
This year’s festival will run from Sept. 17 through Sept. 19 at the Granada Theatre. Admission as always is free.
As always the festival will showcase short films ranging in length from one to 25 minutes with submissions being accepted at this time. To submit your film visit NoCoastFilmFest.com.
The early bird deadline for submissions is Jun. 25 and the final deadline for submissions is Aug. 6.
