Americus native Savanna Chestnut has no regrets about her appearance on the NBC talent show The Voice.
The Emporia resident is back home after she was eliminated during the battle round earlier in the week, but she says it’s all worth it.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Thursday, Chestnut said her calendar has filled up since she was announced for the blind auditions.
Chestnut has an active regional schedule coming involving Kansas and neighboring states into September. She says the show has opened up to playing larger-scale events like music festivals. Because of her touring schedule, work on any new music may not be as much of a priority this year, but she is planning to release new music and produce a new video later this year.
