The Kansas City Chiefs began Phase 1 of their off-season program Monday, all being done virtually.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid says scheme evaluation is the big focus, taking what they learned from the Super Bowl loss to improve.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said he has learned a lot from the Super Bowl loss.
With the phase 1 workouts taking place virtually, Coach Reid says they are missing the on-the-field experience.
Coach Reid says it also makes it harder to implement the new plays.
Patrick Mahomes is also continuing to rehab his toe injury and surgery.
Phase 1 of the offseason program runs thru May 14th. Phase 2, which can include on-the-field workouts, begins on May 17th. Phase 3, which can include a mandatory minicamp, begins May 24th.
