Lyon County closed out the work week with another dip in active coronavirus cases Friday.
Public Health reported five new coronavirus cases bringing the overall total since last march to 4,220. Six new recoveries saw the active case total decrease for the third straight reporting period to 13.
The death count remained unchanged at 84 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
There are no active hospitalizations in Lyon County at this time.
