Osage County deputies have arrested a Missouri man on suspicion of intent to distribute illegal drugs.
Sheriff Chris Wells says 23-year-old Hector Corona-Torres of Kansas City was stopped on Interstate 35 near the Melvern exit shortly before 11 am Friday. Wells says narcotics were detected and a subsequent search led to the discovery of a small amount of marijuana and over two pounds of cocaine.
Corona-Torres was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.
