Lyon County commissioners have an action session Thursday morning.
Commissioners will get the weekly COVID-19 report from Lyon County Health Officer Dr. Ladun Oyenuga and Public Health Incident Commander Renee Hively. This will be the first update since the county turned its mask mandate into a strong recommendation.
In other business, commissioners will consider a zoning change for land in the 2200 block of Road 130 west of Neosho Rapids. This would lead to a new cell tower for US Cellular and improve cell phone reception in southeast Lyon County and west Coffey County.
Four executive sessions are planned.
The meeting is at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
