A Vassar man has been arrested on drug charges following an afternoon traffic stop in Osage County Thursday
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, shortly after 3:30 pm Thursday, a Sheriffs Deputy conducted a stop on a vehicle believed to be driven by an individual with an active warrant. During the stop a K9 unit was deployed and discovered illegal narcotics within the vehicle.
The driver, 42-year-old Bradley Tevis of Vassar was arrested on multiple charges including possesion of meth, marijuana, transporting an open container of alcohol or liquor and interference with law enforcement. Tevis was taken to the Osage County jail where he remains at last word.
Formal charges are currently pending.
