The Minnesota Twins outscored the Kansas City Royals 13-4 Sunday.
The Twins blew the game open with a 7 run third inning.
Hunter Dozier did hit a 3 run home run in the 4th inning to cut the deficit to 7-3 but the Twins scored 3 runs in the 6th and 8th innings to put the game out of reach.
The Royals begin a 4 game series with Cleveland tonight. Daniel Lynch makes his major league debut tonight for the Royals with the first pitch set for 7:10p.

Starter Danny Duffy and catcher Salvador Perez were named the team’s pitcher and player of the month for April.
