Joleen Bolinger has some shopping ahead — and she doesn’t mind one bit.
Earlier this week, Bolinger was announced as the KVOE Working Women After Hours grand prize winner — meaning she has 16 $100 gift certificates from the event’s participating sponsors. On KVOE’s Morning Show on Thursday, Bolinger said she didn’t expect to win.
KVOE went virtual with the event for the second straight year due to COVID-19. Women went to KVOE.com and observed 60-second videos from sponsors. Each video had special keywords that, when used, entered women in drawings to win a $50 gift certificate from that participating business as well as the grand prize.
Bolinger says the virtual aspect let her find out more about the participating businesses than she already knew. She also says she’ll be shopping both for herself and others with her winnings.
