Farmers to Families has been in Americus on Saturday for a food giveaway. Another one is coming in Emporia soon.
First United Methodist Church, 823 Merchant, will be the host site Tuesday afternoon. Food and milk will be handed out. The giveaway starts at 3 pm in the church’s west parking lot and lasts until the food is gone. There is no charge for this service.
Volunteers will be needed and are asked to show up at 2 pm.
