A traffic stop in Osage County Monday led to the arrest of an Osage City woman on drug charges.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on K268 Highway just east of the US75 Highway Junction around 1:45 pm Monday. After the deployment of a K9 unit narcotics were discovered inside a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Bridget R.C. Griesacker of Osage City.
Griesacker was then arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and an active warrant out of Shawnee County.
Formal charges are currently pending.
