Lyon County commissioners will look at increasing technology demands as part of their action meeting Thursday.
Information Technology Director Chuck Boyce will discuss demand trends, specifically on the county’s wireless infrastructure network. Boyce is also set to submit a bid to accommodate that increased need.
Separately, Lyon County Emergency Communications Director Roxanne Van Gundy will discuss the starting wage and potential incentive package additions for a communication officer position. There will be a public hearing related to Wednesday’s official viewing of Road 75 and U. Three executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse.
