The Emporia High softball team plays Maize in the regional semi-final at Valley Center Tuesday.
The Lady Spartans are coming off of wins over Dodge City and Kapaun Mount Carmel. Senior Kaylee Thomas says they need those wins going into regionals.
Emporia High Coach Aaron Hammond says one thing is certain they have been tested.
The winner will play either Valley Center or Great Bend for a trip to State.
