Lyon County deputies spent some time early Thursday morning defusing a disturbance near the Emporia Municipal Airport.
Deputies went to the Dry Creek Manufactured Housing Community, 1053 Road 135, after a disorderly subject situation turned into a possibly barricaded person at Trailer 13. Sheriff Jeff Cope says deputies made contact with the as-yet-unnamed person, who was safe and was not actually barricaded inside the residence.
No criminal charges are being filed at this time.
