Emporians are being asked for their input when it comes to potential improvements at Santa Fe Park.
Starting Thursday, residents can take part in a survey that will be available online at www.americanrampcompany.com/emporia as the city looks to make improvements to the so-called action park at that location. Emporia has partnered with American Ramp Company and its affiliates, Pivot Custom, Progressive Bike Ramps and Velosolutions, with an eye towards new features and designs that could expand options for skaters, cyclists, scooter users and more.
City Manager Mark McAnarney says this is the first step in a multi-phase process that will include design, engineering, cost estimates and funding before construction begins.
Once the survey is activated, it will be available until June 10.
